The strategic browser MMO Forge of Empires has reached 1,000,000 players

InnoGames has announced that its strategic browser MMO Forge of Empires has reached 1,000,000 players so far.

The game, which is playable in 18 languages, went into open beta at the end of April. This is the most successful start in InnoGames’ history.

Additionally, the game is going to release a new update the next week, that contains a series of new features. From then on, players will not only be able to trade for free within their guilds, but they can also replace residential buildings with their more effective counterparts more easily.

On top of that, the new neighborhood merging system dynamically puts players of the same rank and activity in close proximity. All changes are aimed at improving the multiplayer aspects of the game.
