So let’s face what changes that greatly improved your players game experience with a number of noteworthy adaptations of the AI, the timing of the day change event, and a whole new way to track your progress towards victory.

Update Supremacy 1914 December 2019



AI Changes:



We adjusted the behaviour of AI players to be slightly less aggressive. To achieve this we adjusted the way the popularity with the AI is affected by certain actions. We also taught the AI that it is more beneficial to attack provinces on the front-line instead of trying to occupy provinces all over the place.

Day Timer Changes:



The time when the day change occurs now varies between game rounds. This was done for performance reasons and to allow players of different time zones to join games that suit their online times best. For details on the changes, visit the games community and news section for find more information.

Victory Progress and Reward Changes



We completely reworked the 'game end timer' popup to display players current progress towards victory – both as a single player and as part of a coalition. When a game is finished due to a timeout, the player or coalition closest to reaching victory on the map will win. Prior to this update only single players could win a round after a timeout. Victory rewards are now based on each player’s or coalition’s relative progress towards their respective victory condition. Finally, the new reward structure allows for coalitions that rank 2nd, 3rd, or 4th on the joint ranking (depending on the map type) to receive Gold rewards matching their ranking position as well. In the past, only a winning coalition could receive a coalition victory reward.

Upcoming XMAS-Event for Supremacy 1914: The Great War:





Ice and Steel: (Sign up period: 20.12.2019 - 26.12.2019)

Scenario:



Wealthy industrialist are exploiting the resources of Antarctica and try to establish their own states. As sovereign of your empire you can’t allow that.

The mission:



Conquer and hold two of three Points of Interest (PoI) for four ingame days to expel the competitors and claim Antarctica’s treasures (50,000 Goldmark)! This exclusive map is only available for joining during the sign-up period. Apart from the Dominion mode victory conditions it features special resource hotspots on the map for which players can compete.
Overview:

• 50 players (10 more than base map)
• Game ends when one player holds 2 out of 3 POIs for 5 days
• Speed map (2x or 4x)
• Explore-race for valuable resources

Player starting conditions:



• Players start with fast offensive units. No defensive options given.
• 75% initial resource production of regular maps, early combat for the resource-hubs.
• 15 provinces per player (10 producing / 5 non producing)
