New Hearthstone expansion announced: Journey to Un'Goro

 

April will see the release of a new Hearthstone expansion: Journey to Un'Goro. It will introduce 135 new cards and two new mechanics, 'adapt' and 'quests'. As always, players will be able to purchase card packs with in-game gold or real money. Watch the announcement trailer below.

The new adapt mechanic is similar to 'discover'. Players will be presented with three options to choose from that will buff their minion. There are a total of 10 adaptions, such as divine shield, taunt, or windfury.

On the other hand, 'quest cards' are a new legendary card type. Quest cards presents certain prerequisites that players must complete during the game if they want to unchain powerful rewards.
