OGame Project Orion & The Anniversary Season

Gameforge Project Orion, a major content update for OGame

Project Orion introduces wave defense and co-op fleet missions

Announced in late September and now live on the public test server, Project Orion is OGame’s biggest update in years. Its new wave defense system pits commanders against randomly generated NPC fleets at anomalies, with rewards for each defeated wave including ships, resources, Dark Matter and premium items.

Missions are visible across the galaxy, giving other players a chance to claim them. Commanders can also team up with their alliance for cooperative missions or opt into PvP missions for double rewards. Meanwhile, OGame’s Anniversary Season runs through October 30, with exclusive avatars, planet skins and titles to unlock.

The Anniversary Season

The endless reaches of the universe hold untold secrets. Get ready to discover them, as the Anniversary Season begins with new season achievements which bring your spirit for exploration and your researching abilities to the fore. Send expeditions into the great unknown, improve your technologies, and expand your empire. Whether it’s recovering precious resources, finding ships, or making discoveries through espionage, many of the achievements reward you for your clever planning and constant progress!

All servers will offer season achievements and fantastic unique rewards such as avatars, planet skins, titles and achievement points which you can only unlock on the season server for a limited time by completing achievements. The season will start on 2nd of October 2026 and end on 30th of October 2026

All rewards you earn on the season server will be available across your account and can be used on every server you play on. After the season ends, the server will continue running as a regular server, but it will no longer be possible to complete the season achievements.

Achievement Overview

Here’s an overview of all the season achievements. You can view these directly on every season server by opening the achievement tab in your profile.

*Log into the OGame server on 1, 4, 8, 12 and 16 different days.
*Reach 100,000, 500,000, 1,000,000, 5,000,000 and 10,000,000 highscore points.
*Upgrade any building (planet or moon) 1, 3, 5, 10 and 20 times.
*Spy on other players 10, 25, 50, 100 and 200 times.
*Complete 50, 100, 250, 500 and 750 expeditions.
*Fly lifeform discovery missions 100, 250, 500, 1,000 and 1,400 times.
*Have a Commander, Admiral, Engineer, Geologist and Technocrat active.
*Build a Shipyard to level 1, 4, 8, 12 and 16 on one moon.
*Build 1,000, 2,000, 4,000, 8,000 and 20,000 Gauss Cannons.
*Scrap 1,000, 10,000, 100,000, 200,000 and 500,000 ships at the Scrap Merchant.
*Send at least 1,000 combat ships on ACS Defend missions for a total of 50, 100, 150, 200 and 300 hours.
*Get 1, 3, 6, 12 and 16 items from Import/Export.
*Find 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, 10,000 and 25,000 Dark Matter on expeditions.
*Bid on auction items 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 times.
*Harvest 10,000,000, 25,000,000, 50,000,000, 75,000,000 and 100,000,000 resources with Recyclers in a single mission.
FAQ

Can I continue playing on the server after the season ends?
Yes, the only difference once the season ends is that it will no longer be possible to complete season achievements. The server will continue running like any other server and you can continue to enjoy the fresh economy and fight for position in the highscore rankings.

Will season rewards be available during another season at a later date?
No, each season introduces unique rewards that will only be available during that particular season. Even if the seasons themselves repeat in the future, there will be new exclusive rewards.

Can I only use the rewards I unlock on the season server on this server?
No, as soon as you’ve unlocked the reward from an achievement (including season achievements)., you can use it on any server you play on, now or in the future.

Will achievement points from season achievements be added to my regular achievement points?
Yes, every time you complete an achievement or a season achievement, you receive 100 points for your total achievement score. These points are identical across all servers and are used both for the server highscore ranking and the global achievement highscore table. Season servers offer an excellent way of further increasing your achievement score.
