Open Beta Time for Silent Hunter Online

Ubisoft and Blue Byte have just announced the official beginning of the open beta phase for their free-to-play multiplayer browser based submarine simulation, Silent Hunter Online. Players take position on board their submarines, hunt down enemy convoys, manage their personal flotillas and partake in server-wide dynamic campaigns.



The game uses a powerful graphics engine based on Flash 11 technology to offer full 3D graphics (with 3d sea waves and full detailed ship models) and dynamic weather effects with changing daytimes without the need of a client.



Players will be able to cooperate in every mission and enjoy together every feature the game has to offer, which include authentic boat types, historical boat types, a dynamic campaign and, off course, stunning battles.
