Perfect World Entertaintment has acquired Cryptic Studios

Yesterday, Perfect World Entertaintment has announced that it would be acquiring Cryptic Studios, a leading developer of MMOs with titles such as Champions Online and Star Trek Online under its belt.

Next week at E3 (June 7-9), Perfect World will give the gaming industry aftershocks with its latest lineup of next generation free-to-play online games.
