Path of Exile is going to celebrate a stress test this weekend
After a successful stress test last month, the servers of the action RPG Path of Exile, under develoment by Grinding Gear Games in New Zealand, will open its doors to as many people this weekend to test their carrying capacity in preparation for the open beta in the coming months.The servers will be open from Friday, May 11 at 17h PST and will close Sunday, May 13, 2012 at 23:59 PST. For information, the previous stress test had attracted 47,000 players.
In addition Grinding Gear has unveiled its latest character class, the hit-and-run trap-laying Shadow. The Shadow is a hybrid dexterity and intelligence class, a professional assassin exiled after getting on the wrong side of a former client. He employs deadly traps and spells against opponents, finishing off survivors with quick dagger strikes while darting in and out of combat.
