First Look HEX: Shards of Fate

 

We recently take some time out to play the closed beta of the new trading card game HEX: Shards of Fate from Hex Entertainment/Cryptozoic Entertainment, the complex and involved fantasy-based card game that pits players against each other in one-on-one duels. The game promises a number of unique features such as equipping cards with gear, raid style PvE dungeons and a whole host of other features.

In our first look to the Orc deck out for a spin and give you a demo and just exactly what the game is all about and how it plays, examining the various features in detail. For our first battle we go up against the challenging AI (and it really does seem to be quite intelligent…) and show you just how well both we and our deck hold up.
