Today we present this exclusive interview about Brawl Busters with Flavio Caracas, Marketing Manager at Rock Hippo Productions.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to interview you about Brawl Busters.

First of all, could you introduce yourself to our readers?

Thanks for having me. My name is Flavio Caracas, Marketing Manager at Rock Hippo Productions.

How would you describe Brawl Busters to someone who has not heard about it before?

Brawl Busters is an online multiplayer action combat game that looks and plays unlike anything else on a PC today. Players will be able to choose one of five incredibly unique character classes, and duke it out in urban inspired environments with a cartoon twist. The game will be free to play, and available to players from North America and Europe.

Why the game is called Brawl Busters?

The name says it all really. This is an action-packed game with battles so full of energy and chaos, that they can only be described as brawls. Environments are filled with interactive and destructible pieces, enhancing that feeling further. The characters as a collective are called Busters, but I can’t reveal too much more about that at the moment.

For how long has Brawl Busters been in development?

Development began close to 3 years ago, so the team is getting very excited as the Closed Beta date is nearing. Our goal is to ensure that every aspect of the game is perfect, and every detail has been ironed out, so we don’t mind taking any extra time for polish.

Let’s talk about gameplay modes. There are three gameplay modes (as far as we know), online multiplayer, single-player and co-op. Could you detail each mode?

That’s right, as far as you know, there are three gameplay modes. Online multiplayer will pit Busters from across the globe in team based battles. Building a team around the strengths and weaknesses of your allies will be crucial for high level play in this mode. Single-player missions will allow Busters to hone their skills outside of the multiplayer arena. Co-operative play lets Busters work together to defeat hordes of zombies invading the city. Sounds easy right? Well, wait until you see what these zombies can do.

We aim to provide the same awesome Brawl Busters experience in a variety of modes to suit the play style of any gamer.

There are five classes or characters to choose from: Boxer, Firefighter, Rocker, Slugger and Blitzer. What are the main differences between them?

Each character class comes equipped with unique primary, secondary, and special attacks. They have specific strengths and weakness based on ratings such as HP, Speed, Power, and many more. Of course they each have their own weapons and outfit options as well. The best way to see what I’m talking about is to check out our series of educational Brawl Buster Lessons at the official website.

If you can’t pick a favourite class, that’s not a problem. Your Buster can switch classes at any time before a match, and during respawn as well.

What we will find in the world of Brawl Busters? Talk us about the lore.

You’re going to be surprised at every corner and find something new every time you play. There are so many options and different ways to tackle a challenge in Brawl Busters, and that’s only made even more exciting by the great visual style of the world. Regarding the game’s story, you’ll just have to wait, as we are not going to reveal any details today.

What kind of customization can we expect to see?

Players will be able to create, outfit, and equip their very own Buster using a huge variety of customization options. Gear is not only for looks however, as players will need to choose their equipment carefully to stay competitive. Body types and attributes are not restricted to specific classes, so don’t be surprised if you see a little girl pummel you to the ground wearing full football gear.

Any date for the official launch? What’s the beta plan?

We are getting very close to the Closed Beta stage, but no specific date has been announced yet. We know that some players just can’t contain themselves in anticipation, but rest assured we are working around the clock to deliver an awesome experience as soon as possible.

What can you say about the system requirements? What are the minimum PC specifications to play Brawl Busters?

Brawl Busters is best played on mid-range PCs and up. The minimum requirements are surprisingly forgiving for an action game of this graphical level. Detailed specs will be announced once we enter the Closed Beta stage.
