Age of Wushu: First Look Gameplay with commentary
This week we checked out martial arts MMORPG Age of Wushu; set in ancient China in a time where powerful Wushu martial artists roam the world in search of adventure. Pretty neat. Developed by Suzhou Snail Electronic Co. and published in North America by Snail Games, the game sets a low-fantasy theme that is steeped in mythology and legend of the period without being overly fantasy driven. What this means is that whilst your characters may be able to perform incredible feats such as running on water and leaping high into the air such as in moves like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, that’s the extent of the fantasy and so unlike the goblin and monster filled worlds of other MMORPGs Age of Wushu is standing out from the crowd.
Great graphics, great imagery and the team have really gone to great lengths to try and capture the atmosphere of the time. With some revolutionary features (seriously, check out the website… there’s too many to list) this free-to-play game, open-world sandbox is definitely worth picking up and checking out.
