League of Legends big news for ranked play
Riot Games just announced some interesting details regarding a new league system for the ranked matches of League of Legends that will allow all players that are level 30 and have access to 16 champions to compete.
Six different tiers/levels of competition will be introduced, with several leagues in each tier. Players can progress within the tiers through 5 divisions until they qualify for the next tier up. Finally, with enough skill and passion, players can reach the highest and division-less “Challenger” tier.
