Heroes of the Storm 2.0 Now Available

 

Heroes of the Storm enters a new era with the release of update 2.0. This major update brings a new progression system, loot chests, a new type of Overwatch-inspired battlground, a new hero and new cosmetic elements.

Player level cap has been removed, and now all users will receive rewards through progression. They will earn loot chests that contain all kind of rewards, such as heroes, skins or the new cosmetic elements (emojis, banners, voice lines...).

The release of 2.0 also introduced Overwatch's Genji as a playable hero and a new battleground in which players will need to escort a payload in order to destroy the enemy's core.
