WildStar, First Look Gameplay Video with Commentary

So Wildstar is in closed beta and we got a chance to check the game out for ourselves and do a first look video. Having previously seen the game in action T GamesCom as well as having a hands-on press demonstration a few months ago it was good to get unsupervised access to the game finally as this is really one we’ve been waiting for.

Check out our video of what we got to playing through the first few levels aboard the Gamblers’ Ruin, a linear tutorial area for the Exiles the helps you get to grips with the game and teach you the fundamental basics where we kill stuff, rescue vegetables and fail at climbing an asteroid (if anyone is interested we did actually get to the top in the end…).     I guess F2P must stand for something other than free-to-play around here. Or perhaps you’re just holding out hope that these cocky upstarts will learn the same lesson as SW:TOR and open their gates to the freebs before the year is out.

    It’s almost free to play. Yes, you have to buy it, but then you can pay the monthly fee with in-game currency.
