Perfect World Entertainment Inc. has launched Blacklight Retribution on Steam

Perfect World Entertainment Inc. has announced the launch of its MMOFPS Blacklight: Retribution on Steam.

The popular free-to-play game is now available for download by the more than 40 million players using Valve's digital distribution service.

In celebration of the Steam launch, every new Blacklight: Retribution player who registers through Steam and reaches level five is granted a free orange Portal weapon tag. In addition, both Steam and veteran players will have the opportunity to acquire a blue Portal Weapon tag during the first week of the Steam launch.

"We're excited to make Blacklight: Retribution available to all the PC gamers using Steam," said Clifton Chu, Product Manager, Perfect World Entertainment. "The level of competition is going to be raised from intense to cut-throat with the influx of new Steam players."
