Survived By a New roguelite MMO Announced

Digital Extremes has just announced a new free to play MMO: Survived By. Developed by Human Head Studios, this new retro-style roguelite MMO title with permadeath will see up to 100 players fighting in a bullet hell battle. Check out the announcement trailer below.

“When we created Survived By, we imagined a game retaining all of the key gameplay elements of the classic games we grew up with and loved, but with a modern role-player in mind,” said Ryan Jackson, Executive Producer. “Jumping into a server with as many as 100 players, we discovered a tremendous sense of wonder and an addictive blend of crafting, social team-work and twitchy bullet-hell madness.”

In Survived by, each time a player dies, almost everything will be lost. A new descendant will carry part of the legacy of the previous character. The game will feature different classes (such as Alchemist, Druid or Infiltrator), and players will be able to craft all kind of weapons to face the enemies.

Those interested can now sign up for the Closed Alpha.
