    I have more of a preference for arm cannnos, such as the X-buster from Megaman X, or the Garuru Cannon from Omegamon. Highly convenient. Downsides being that the weapon drains energy directly from the mech, so stuff like the Wing Zero’s TBC or Unicorns beam magnum are impossible/not probable to incorporate into MS designs(unless your MS uses magical pixie dust that is.)
