Blade & Soul western version confirmed

The news that many of you were probably awaiting is finally here, and it’s official: NCsoft just confirmed its Western expansion plans for their really hyped Asian martial arts fantasy MMORPG, Blade & Soul.
The game was launched just 11 weeks ago and has already confirmed itself as one of the most played PC games in the internet cafés in South Korea, capturing the hearts of millions of players. Looking at the hype on the western forum and website, we can bet that the game will reach the same level of success when it will be in the hands of the western gamers.

Blade & Soul brings the players in a fantasy MMORPG focused on Asian martial arts. The game aims to bring the beautiful and choreographic movements of movies like House of Flying Daggers and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and put them in a living breathing online world filled with deep storylines.
The credit for the stunning arts goes to the well-known Korean artist Hyung-Tae Kim, lead artist of the Team Bloodlust, authors of the game. Kim is famous worldwide for his mangas and his huge fan base and his ability to blend Japanise anime style with Korean art will grant to Blade & Soul even a broader audience.
Obviously there is not an official release date for now, but the process of “Westernization” of the game is already in progress, with Team Bloodlust actively ensuring that the atmosphere of the game and the martial arts theme remain untouched.
